Join popular WEA tutor Debbie Alston for Bat Watch! on Tuesday 09 June 2015 (6.30-10pm). Bats are remarkable animals with their adapted hands (wings), echolocation and habit of hibernation. This session will introduce you to their fascinating world. After an introductory 2 hour indoors at WEA Centre on Stand Road learning about bats, there’s an optional field visit to Poolsbrook Country Park to watch bats emerge in the early evening and use bat detectors to work out which species are flying. (Please note: transport to Poolsbrook is not provided)  Fee: £12 including tea, coffee & biscuits.  Book your place now! For more information contact WEA Chesterfield on 01246 622249
